2. What method does TLCC use to clean carpet and why?
1. How often should I have my carpet cleaned?
3. Can't I just rent one of those cleaning machines from the grocery store and do it myself?
5. How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
6. I have upholstery that hasn't been cleaned for years or ever. Does TLCC clean upholstery?
7. Just how much soil and debris can be embedded in my carpet?
That answer depends on how much traffic enters your home. If your home happens to hold a family that is constantly arriving and leaving at all all times of the day, it may be beneficial to have the carpet cleaned every 8-12 months. Pets contribute a considerable amount of soil deposits in our floors also. They may be caused from outside elements or an unfortunate accident in the home. It's really up to the owner's decretion. Just remember, your carpet will look great and will last for years to come if it is simply maintained annually.
How often should I have my carpet cleaned?
What method does TLCC use to clean carpet and why?
TLCC uses a method called hot water extraction (also known as steam cleaning). The hot water created by our powerful truck mounted machine combined with our amazing pre-spray enables the soils in your carpet to be broken down and ready for extraction. We wash our clothes and bodies in hot water to become clean, don't we?
4. I've heard from friends that after their carpet is cleaned, it only stays clean for a short period and seems to become dirty too easily.....why?
Can't I just rent one of those cleaning machines from the grocery store and do it myself?
Of course you can. However, the amount of time spent using one of those machines on your hands and knees greatly exceeds the amount it would take a professional at TLCC to perform the same job. Once the grocery store machine is rented, there are multiple bottles of solutions that must be purchased for specific areas, carpet types, or tough stains. The time and money spent simply put, is not worth it. Ask yourself, is this little machine really going to clean this big house?
Sometimes, if the machine is not powerful enough (a portable unit), the cleaner may leave residue behind. Here at TLCC, our brand new truck mounted cleaning system is more than powerful enough to extract all soils and rinsing agents to leave your home with a fresh, new, and clean look for all to enjoy.
I've heard from friends that afer their carpet is cleaned, it only stays clean for a short period and seems to become dirty too easily.....why?
Depending on day temperatures and home cooling and/or heating, the average time ranges from 2-4 hours. If the home uses A/C to cool itself, the dry time is considerably reduced because of the cool, dry air. If the home uses evaperative cooling, because of the humidity currently in the home, it may have a longer dry time upwards to 4 hours.
How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
Absolutely. couches, sofas, chairs, and recliners all take abuse from us relaxing upon them. Anywhere from food spills to dog drool to body oils can easily adhere themselves to your furniture and cause an unsightly appearance. TLCC can revitalize your furniture and make you wonder why you never cleaned them sooner. We can also take care of cars, trucks, and RVs that may need special attention. We spend an awful lot of time in our vehicles and sometimes we eat on the go or our children happen to 'forget' to tell us that they spilled something. The cleaning process is no different than in your home and with amazing results. Many have claimed that it looks like a new car again.....really!
